Generic RN Track
This track is for applicants who do not have an LPN license. The program provides comprehensive nursing education from the ground up.
What You'll Earn
- Diploma in Nursing from RWJBarnabas Health School of Nursing
- Associate in Science degree from Union College
- Eligibility to take the NCLEX-RN licensure examination
Application Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Completion of prerequisite courses
- Attendance at information session
- Completed application with required documents
LPN to RN Track
This track is designed for Licensed Practical Nurses who wish to advance their career to become a Registered Nurse. The program recognizes your prior learning and experience.
What You'll Earn
- Diploma in Nursing from RWJBarnabas Health School of Nursing
- Associate in Science degree from Union College
- Eligibility to take the NCLEX-RN licensure examination

General Admission Requirements
All applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Minimum grade of C in all science courses
- Completion of required prerequisite courses
Documentation Required
- Official high school and/or college transcripts
- Proof of attendance at information session
- Valid government-issued photo ID
- Social Security number
- Application fee
Health Requirements
- Physical examination by licensed healthcare provider
- Current immunization records
- Background check clearance
- Drug screening
